My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a show about, you guessed it, My Little Ponies. Only not the lame “buy our toys” My Little Ponies you remember from the early 90s, late 80s, and bad movies late at night on the Disney Channel. Awesome Ponies written by the chick who worked on both The Powerpuff Girls and Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends.

I may or may not have watched every episode thus far produced on YouTube this weekend and have the Winter Wrap-Up song on my iPod now. The show actually has a large adult fanbase (there are a lot of comments on YouTube to the effect of “Imma male marine with 35 confirmed kills and I LOVE FLUTTERSHY!”), and I’ve been scouring the internet for a t-shirt from it for the last two days.
Watch it– you’ll be in good company.
